JACK BAUER MUST TESTIFY

24: Redemption

In 24: Redemption, Jack Bauer wanted no part of returning the United States, but Congress had other ideas. While volunteering at an orphanage in Sangala (after saving the world for the sixth time), Bauer is served a subpoena to appear before the Senate to defend his tendency for torturing the truth out of terrorists. It signaled a pivotal moment in the show’s history – and presents a rare opportunity for 24 fans. The subpoena itself (one of only a handful of created by the 24 props department for the episode) is on the auction block. You can place your bid for a piece of 24 history by clicking here. The auction ends April 5.

DAYTIME DESIGNS

Brooke Logan

Brooke Logan (or should we say Brooke Logan-Chambers-Jones-Marone-Forrester?) has been called many things through nearly 25 years on The Bold and the Beautiful – desperate, lovelorn, conniving, gorgeous – but never out-of-style. Now fans of the series can add a piece of Brooke’s fashion sense to their own closets – an elegant sleeveless dress worn on-screen by actress Katherine Kelly Lang as Brooke Logan – is being auctioned to the highest bidder (and currently available at a reasonable price). You can take a look at the unique wardrobe item – and place your bid – by clicking here. The auction ends April 5.

DUSHKU'S DRESSED TO KILL

Dressed to kill

Were you such a big fan of Dollhouse that you’re waiting for the opportunity to be imprinted with the psyche of series creator Joss Whedon just so you can watch more episodes play out in your head? If so, then you undoubtedly remember the second-season episode “Belle Chose,” in which Echo is programmed as a college co-ed (for a professor who wants to be seduced by a student) while Victor imprinted with the serial killer persona of a favored family member of one of the Rossum Corporation’s kingpins – and then, complete with homicidal tendencies, busts out of the house. Well, you can own a piece of “Belle Chose” – a skirt worn on-screen by Eliza Dusku (see photo) – if oyu;re the top bidder (click here to check it out). The auction ends APril 5.

LAW & ORDER: PARADE OF STARS

Rita Wilson coming to L&O: SVU

Hot on the heels of Rose McGowan’s swingin’ turn on Law & Order: SVU, another star has signed on for a guest appearance: Rita Wilson (It’s Complicated, Old Dogs). She will play the mother of a “seriously disturbed” child who is under investigation, according to The Hollywood Reporter. The episode will air in May. WIth Law & Order quickly joining the ranks of The Simpsons, 30 Rock and the old Batman series as a showcase for guest stars, what has been your favorite bit of stunt casting? Bob Newhart on ER? Artie Lange in Entourage? Wil Wheaton on The Big Bang Theory? Jason Alexander in Star Trek: Voyager? We can go on forever!

FRIDAY NIGHT LIGHTS ON DVD

Friday Night Lights' final season on DVD – then on TV

The fifth and final season of the critically acclaimed Friday Night Lights makes its broadcast television debut Friday, April 15, on NBC (it has already aired on DirecTV), but it will be available on DVD April 5. Yes, the plan seems a bit schizophrenic, but for those of us who can’t flip past The Shawshank Redemption, The Godfather, A Few Good Men or Saved By the Bell reruns – even though we have seen each dozens of times and own them on DVD – there is something special about watching it on TV. What movies and shows get you to stop flipping channels, even though you already own them?
