The "24" movie script is rjected? Noooooo!

Despite comments made by “24” star Kiefer Sutherland earlier this year indicating that a film version of the series had been completed, “24” executive producer Howard Gordon told AssignmentX.com that the script (written by Billy Ray) has been rejected by the studio. “There was a script, but ultimately it wasn’t the right proposition. It wasn’t strong enough or compelling enough to the studio, obviously, to move ahead with it.” Gordon added that he is not currently involved with the “24” film. “The rumors are that [director] Tony Scott has an idea that he is going to run by – or has run it by – Kiefer Sutherland. I don’t know what the status of it is.”
