Viva Glee: The King is surpassed

After topping Michael Jackson and the Beatles, this announcement was really just a matter of time, but it doesn’t make the news any less impressive: Glee has landed more hits on the Billboard Hot 100 chart than any other artist – including Elvis Presley.  With six songs recorded by various members of the Glee cast debuting on the Billboard chart this week, the TV series now has 113 hit songs – surpassing the King of Rock’s tally of 108 hit singles since June 2009 (Billboard has been charting songs for 52 years). Lea Michele’s version of Katy Perry’s “ chart-topper “Firework” debuted at number 34 on the Hot 100 chart – the biggest debut of any song from Glee. What is your favorite New Directions tune?
