Though his hit 1994 film Stargate has spawned three successful television series that have aired from 1997 to 2011, producer Dean Devlin (who is also working on a sequel to his 1996 blockbuster Independence Day) says the story is not complete – and he intends to finish the tale. “Stargate has always had this empty hole,” he told The Hollywood Reporter last month. “When we made the first one, we always intended on doing part two and three, and we were prevented for years. And our hope is that we can get another chance at Stargate and tell the entire story we wanted to tell.”

It’s not good to provoke Flash Gordon while he’s in a drug-and-alcohol induced fantasy flashback – especially if you happen to look and act like his diabolical archenemy, Ming the Merciless. Ted’s volatile neighbor found this out the hard way after Flash – actually actor Sam J. Jones – broke through his wall during the movie’s wild party scene. It made for one of the funniest moments in the movie – and a fantastic nod to the 1980 “classic.” Best of all, for a few hours more, the Ming costume that actor Thomas Wu wore during the Flash Gordon fantasy sequence in the blockbuster comedy Ted is now available at TedAuctions.com. Don’t let this opportunity to own a truly inspired – and hilarious – piece of movie history (and Seth MacFarlane’s vivid imagination) get away. Click here for details or to place your bid – but hurry. The auction ends soon.

The now-iconic painting of the solar eclipse used in the Heroes series premiere episode, “Genesis,” is among the final batch of props from the series now available at VIP Fan Auctions (click here for all of the Heroes auctions). The piece of art was created on-screen by Heroes’ tortured artist Isaac Mendez (played by Santiago Cabrera) and off-screen by production artist Tim Sale. The piece available for auction is a huge photo reproduction of the original mounted on a 60-inch x 39-inch canvas (click here for photos of the item). Do not let this piece of T.V. history get away – place your bid today. All of the Heroes auctions are ending soon.

Major film and television stars have made Comic-Con in San Diego (July 12-15) a mainstream event for years, but anyone who’s been there knows that the true showstoppers are the fans who dress up in elaborate costumes to pay homage to their favorite series, movies and genres – the more obscure and elaborate, the better! If you’re planning on attending this year, do not miss the opportunity to raise the bar by showing up wearing genuine, screen-used wardrobe items available at Paramount Movie Auctions. Currently on the auction block is an outfit from the phenomenal 2011 J.J. Abrams alien-monster film Super 8 – the shirt and pants combo was worn on-screen by Zach Mills (who played Preston in the film). There is also a ton of really cool stuff from The Last Airbender, including fans, backpacks, prop weapons – and a complete women’s Water Tribe costume. Check out these and other props and wardrobe items from additional films at Paramount Movie Auctions and VIP Fan Auctions!
