STARGATE'S SPACE ZOMBIES

d

Wraith Drones are zombie foot soldiers from space that answer only to the commands of their Wraith masters. They are living nightmares that attack without mercy, judgment – or even expression (since they have no faces). Whether you collect science fiction memorabilia or simply want to dominate your local costume contests this Halloween, VIP Fan Auctions is offering the opportunity to own a genuine screen-worn Wraith Drone costume straight from the set of Atlantis. It features a mask and armor (click here for photos and details).

Of course, if you prefer a more heroic look, fans can also bid on a set of screen-worn Stargate Universe tactical gear, which includes a vest, helmet and Wiley-X sunglasses. Check out all of the Stargate wardrobe and prop auctions at VIP Fan Auctions!

WAR OF THE WORLDS

a

The next time you encounter the Wraith, Goa’uld, Replicators, Asurans or any other hostile alien race from Stargate, you better be ready to defend yourself and the planet. Lucky for you, a cache of (prop) weapons has been discovered – and you have the opportunity to arm yourself against otherworldly attacks. Right now at VIP Fan Auctions, Stargate fans have the opportunity to bid on a variety of screen-used weapons created specifically for the series by the SG-1, Atlantis and SGU prop departments, including a machete, grenades, staff and a bow from SG-1, a slingshot and projectiles from Atlantis, and a proximity mine from the SGU episode “Malice.” And if things get too rough, there’s even a Lantean medical scanner featured in the “Runner” episode of Atlantis. Click here to see all of the great Stargate props and behind-the-scenes items now available… before it’s too late!

SCREENWRITERS TAKE NOTE…

a

A complete set of shooting scripts from the first season of Stargate Universe is now available at VIP Fan Auctions. If you’re a Stargate fan whose considered writing a script or simply enjoy catching a glimpse into the screenwriter’s original vision and notes before an episode is filmed, do not let this opportunity get away. The collection includes the first 20 episodes of SGU – as well as “Fire,” which was originally going to be the fourth episode of the season, but it was too much story to fit into one episode, so it was rewritten as two episodes, “Darkness” and “Light.” The scripts are a phenomenal collection of SGU history – and a veritable how-to manual for writing a science fiction series. Click here to get in on the bidding today!

STARGATE WILL RETURN

Though his hit 1994 film Stargate has spawned three successful television series that have aired from 1997 to 2011, producer Dean Devlin (who is also working on a sequel to his 1996 blockbuster Independence Day) says the story is not complete – and he intends to finish the tale. “Stargate has always had this empty hole,” he told The Hollywood Reporter last month. “When we made the first one, we always intended on doing part two and three, and we were prevented for years. And our hope is that we can get another chance at Stargate and tell the entire story we wanted to tell.”

There is still time to claim a piece of the groundbreaking Stargate TV franchise! VIP Fan Auctions is offering unique behind-the-scenes artifacts, such as the detailed production sketches of a Wraith chest plate from Stargate Atlantis, screen-used military Wiley X sunglasses from SGU, and rare collectibles like the limited edition book celebrating the tenth anniversary of SG-1. THE WRAITH STUFF

wq

When people have nightmares about being attacked by unfriendly aliens, they are dreaming about the Wraith. Not only is this ancient alien species from the Pegasus Galaxy Atlantis frightening to look at, they feed on the life force of humans. From a storytelling standpoint, they are also compelling villains that added to the stellar mythology of Stargate Atlantis. For fans of the series (and the species), a series of seven concept drawings of a female Wraith from the first episode of Atlantis is currently available on the Stargate page at VIP Fan Auctions. The artwork is dated from December 2003 to January 2004, and was created by the show’s art department for use in production. Check out the individual drawings by clicking here.

And if you can’t get enough of the Wraith, you might also want to place a bid on the screen-used Wraith drone mask worn in multiple episodes of Stargate Atlantis. Click here for details.

STONE COLD AWESOME

asg

The Asgard are a highly evolved species – ironically, they rely on stones to connect and communicate with their advanced technology. These aren’t just any stones, however – the Asgard Stones have a rich history in the universe. The Asgard shared this technology with the Tau’ri and now VIP Fan Auctions is sharing it with the fortunate fan who places the winning bid on a set of three prototype Asgard Stones created for SG-1 by the legendary series’ props department. Click here for photos of the stones or for more information – and place your bid today.

THE WRITER'S EDGE

sg

Fans of science fiction are amazing – many feel a personal investment in their favorite series and show their support for actors, writers and directors by following their careers, attending conventions, writing blogs and generally serving as unofficial public relations ambassadors for the genre.

Among this fervent fandom, however, is a sub group of enthusiasts who are also fascinated with the technical aspects of television and movies. These are the people we often end up reading about in fan magazines – people who were so obsessed with things like special-effects makeup, costume design, visual effects and – perhaps more than anything – screenwriting.

For those who dream of a career in the writer’s room, VIP Fan Auctions has several shooting scripts from SG-1 currently available to the highest bidders. These scripts offer an opportunity to learn from some of the best writers in the business and experience Stargate from an entirely new perspective.

Chek out the Stargate page at VIP Fan Auctions today for your chance to bid on the following classic SG-1 scripts:

The Tok Ra (season 2)

Shades of Grey (season 3)

Tangent (Season 4)

Ripple Effect (season 9)

Collateral Damage (season 9)

SIGNED, SEALED, DELIVERED… TO YOU!

The cast of Stargate Universe was talented, diverse and, now that the series has ended, scattered across the entertainment universe working on new projects. This last fact makes it particularly difficult for autograph seekers to capture the SGU cast’s signatures, but for one fortunate Stargate Universe fan, VIP Fan Auctions has unearthed a SGU poster (pictured above) that features nine autographs –  all hand-signed, none of that pre-printed space junk – of Jamil Walker Smith (who also wrote “I Heart Julie Benson” to make it a truly one-of-a-kind collectible), Ming-Na, Robert Carlyle, Elyse Levesque, Lou Diamond Phillips, Alaina Huffman, Brian J. Smith, David Blue and Louis Ferreira. It’s a truly outstanding piece of Stargate memorabilia that any fan will treasure for a lifetime. The winner of this auction will own a piece of true sci-fi history suitable for framing. Check out the details – as well as a number of unique screen-used props and wardrobe items –  including a really cool pair of space gloves from the series – at VIP’s Stargate Auctions page. TREASURES AWAIT THROUGH THE 'GATE

Exploring the sets of Stargate turned into an archaeological expedition uncovering a number of artifacts from one of the greatest science fiction franchises of all time. Among the SG-1 props now available at the Stargate page of VIP Fan Auctions is a screen-used bamboo quiver and darts from The Land of Light featured the first season episode “The Broca Divide.” From Stargate: Atlantis, fans can big on an ancient hammer from the second season episode “Condemned” – and, perhaps most impressive – a chair from the bridge of the Destiny from Stargate Universe!
