Michael Gladis as Paul Kinsey

During a Today Show segment on common courtesy titled “Is Civility Dead?” on the Nov. 3 broadcast, actor Michael Gladis, who played Paul Kinsey for three seasons on Mad Men, seemed to go completely unrecognized during a man-on-the-street interview. Identified only as a “Michael Gladis, customer” in an L.A. coffee shop, the actor noted (at approximately 1 minute, 46 seconds into the segment), “I was raised to say ‘please’ and ‘thank you.’ It’s about that simple, I guess.” What do you think? Do we praise Today for not being star-struck, or do we heckle them for not recognizing the man who gave us Kinsey the copywriter?
