According to Desperate Housewives star Eva Longoria (who plays Gabrielle Solis), with two episodes left to film, no one knows the fate of the ladies of Wisteria Lane. “It’s crazy,” she told USA Today on April 4. “The writing is coming in by the day…. Desperate Housewives star Felicity Huffman (who plays Lynette Scavo) is receiving a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame. Huffman and husband, actor William H. Macy (Shameless, Fargo) will each receive stars – the famed walkway’s 2,463rd and 2,464in, respectively – in a ceremony on March 7. They will be only the second married couple to receive their stars on the same day. Feeling utterly alone and with her life in turmoil in the eighth season episode “What’s to Discuss, Old Friend?” Bree Van De Kamp has decided to end it all – and she rarely fails at anything. With a gun on the table and suicide note written – it reads “To Whom It May Concern, I am sorry but it is just too hard for me to go on.  Please forgive me.  Love Bree” – it’s one of the darkest moments in the history of Desperate Housewives. To most outsiders, it would seem that Bree Van de Kamp (played by Marcia Cross) leads a picture-perfect life. Someone on Desperate Housewives is going to die before the series comes to an end this spring.
