INTRODUCING TAMI TAYLOR

From the very first episode of Friday Night Lights, fans knew the series was going to be special – thanks to stellar writing, a timeless story and a phenomenal cast. One of the many breakout stars from the series is Connie Britton (who played Coach Taylor’s wife, Tami), and VIP Fan Auctions is offering an opportunity to hold on to a piece of her debut. Right now, a complete outfit Britton wore on-screen in the series premiere – including her jeans, tank top, v-neck, purse and necklace – is available to the highest bidder. Click here to place your bid – or to see close-up images of each wardrobe item. Go Panthers! And Lions!
PANTHERS LETTERMAN’S JACKET: REAL McCOY

J.D. McCoy’s (Jeremy Sumpter) Dillon Panthers letterman’s jacket worn on-screen in multiple episodes of Friday Night Lights’ third season is on the auction block at VIP Fan Auctions. The freshman quarterback with the varsity arm created a bit of a stir when he was named the starter, but it was not nearly as big a shake-up as McCoy’s high-powered father would make by getting his son’s personal coach to take over for Eric Taylor at the helm of the Dillon football program – and leading the Taylor’s move to East Dillon. While fans of Coach Taylor (Kyle Chandler) probably aren’t fans of the McCoy family, any Friday Night Lights fan would love to own this genuine Panthers jacket. Check it out by clicking here, and view other FNL props and wardrobe items at VIP Fan Auctions.
DVR ALERT: SMASH FLIES HIGH ON PAN AM

Friday Night Lights’ Gaius Charles (who played Brian “Smash” Williams during seasons one through three) will appear on ABC’s Pan Am tomorrow night (Sunday, Nov. 6) flying to New York on leave from the Navy. When he goes on a date with one of the Pan Am flight attendants, the pair experience some interracial tension (the series is set during the Civil Rights movement). Check out the actor’s take on the appearance on YouTube. And don’t miss out on your opportunity to own a screen-worn wardrobe item from your favorite characters on Friday night lights as their careers continue to heat up both in film and television. Check out the wardrobe items – including those worn by Coach Taylor, Tim Riggins, Lyla Garrity, Tami Taylor and more – while they last – at VIP Fan Auctions’ FNL page.
MINKA KELLY'S RISING STAR

Building on her Friday Night Lights tenure as former cheerleader Lyla Garrity, actress Minka Kelly is quickly becoming one of the top young stars on television. With a high-profile role in the new Charlie’s Angels this fall on Thursday nights (not to mention being named Esquire magazine’s “sexiest woman alive” in 2010), Kelly’s career is definitely on the rise. If you’re one of her growing legion of fans, check out her screen-used wardrobe items from Friday Night Lights at VIP Fan Auctions, including a dress she wore in the third season episode titled “It Ain’t Easy being J.D. McCoy” (where the team takes heat for hazing a freshman quarterback J.D. McCoy). There are also FNL wardrobe items worn by Kyle Chander (Coach Taylor), Madison Burge (Becky Sproles), Aimee Teegarden (Julie Taylor) and others. Place your bid today!
COACH TAYLOR’S GUIDE TO LIFE

In an article titled “Friday Night Lights life lessons: You are going to fail,” Salon.com has compiled a list of life lessons gleaned from the philosophy and teachings of Coach Eric Taylor. Expounding on tips like, “If you’re going to lose, lose honorably” and “Get rid of that pride, boy,” the website chronicles the wisdom of the coach. “Coach Eric Taylor has imparted five years of wisdom, not all of it about football,” the Salon columnist Drew Grant writes. “There is no moral or ethical slip that goes unpunished on Friday Night Lights… And while that could turn another type of show into a real downer, Coach T. is always there to pick you up when you fall … as long as your hubris doesn’t stand in the way.” Don’t let the series end this Friday night without taking home a piece of it – check out the props and wardrobe auctions from the series at VIP Fan Auctions.
PERFECT RECORD, PERFECT SERIES

“It would be a really lovely testament to this show we love so much to have it recognized in its final season,” Friday Night Lights star Connie Britton (who plays Tami Taylor) said to Los Angeles Times entertainment columnist Tom O’Neil on June 7, referring to the possibility of the series (finally) being recognized by the Emmy Awards as television’s best drama. “It would be poetic.” As the series continues to close out its critically acclaimed run on broadcast television, VIP Fan Auctions is opening a vault of television history – including the actual game ball from Season 5’s “Perfect Record” episode when Coach Taylor’s East Dillon Lions crush the Dillon Panthers to cap a memorable rivalry week. Place your bid on the one-of-a-kind piece of sports memorabilia/television prop (as well as a number of screen-worn wardrobe items) and add it to your trophy case.
SHADES OF GREATNESS
Arnold Schwarzenegger in The Terminator. Michael Chiklis in The Shield. Wesley Snipes in Blade. There are few wardrobe items that are as simultaneously subtle, defining and cool as a character’s trademark shades, and the pair of sunglasses Coach Taylor sported on the field in numerous episodes of Friday Night Lights are now available to the highest bidder. Fans of the coach can also bid on his Texas coaching award, which was seen on his desk through multiple seasons of FNL. VIP Fan Auctions is accepting bids on these unique pieces of TV memorabilia until May 5.
