Dana Delaney (who was originally selected to play Bree Van de Kamp and would ultimately play Katherine Mayfair for two seasons on Desperate Housewives) will return to Wisteria Lane for the Desperate Housewives series finale. TV Line also reports that Julie Benz, who played Mayfair’s girlfriend – will not return. Fans of the actress and the character, however, have an opportunity to keep a piece of Katherine beyond the end of the series. VIP Fan Auctions is now offering a dress worn on-screen by Delaney in a fifth-season episode (pictured) to the highest bidder.
