COWBOY WEDDING

cb

Everybody loves a wedding episode, but there was so much turmoil during the Friday Night Lights third-season finale “Tomorrow Blues” that the marriage of Billy and Mindy was just one part of the story. In fact, the biggest moment for fans came during the wedding – and it wasn’t when the groom kissed the bride. The wedding is where Coach Taylor (Kyle Chandler) learns that he would no longer be coaching the Dillon Panthers. For fans of the series, VIP Fan Auctions has an amazing opportunity to make you feel as if you were on the FNL set when you heard that Wade Aikman was taking over the coach’s job – the site is offering one of the screen-worn cowboy groomsman suits featured in the episode. The suit is the genuine article – and certain to create a stir if you decide to wear it out for a night on the town. Check out the details by clicking here and place your bid on this piece of Friday Night Lights history today!

And don’t miss out on the chance to bid on a number of additional FNL screen-worn wardrobe items at the Friday Night Lights page at VIP Fan Auctions.

PANTHERS LETTERMAN’S JACKET: REAL McCOY

j

J.D. McCoy’s (Jeremy Sumpter) Dillon Panthers letterman’s jacket worn on-screen in multiple episodes of Friday Night Lights’ third season is on the auction block at VIP Fan Auctions. The freshman quarterback with the varsity arm created a bit of a stir when he was named the starter, but it was not nearly as big a shake-up as McCoy’s high-powered father would make by getting his son’s personal coach to take over for Eric Taylor at the helm of the Dillon football program – and leading the Taylor’s move to East Dillon. While fans of Coach Taylor (Kyle Chandler) probably aren’t fans of the McCoy family, any Friday Night Lights fan would love to own this genuine Panthers jacket. Check it out by clicking here, and view other FNL props and wardrobe items at VIP Fan Auctions.

FNL’S LANDRY CLARK GETS 'BENT'

l

As Landry Clarke on Friday Night Lights, actor Jesse Plemons may have been the most popular character without a uniform (though he would eventually join the Panthers squad). Playing the loyal best buddy of quarterback Matt Saracen (Zack Guilford) and the lovelorn boyfriend of Tyra Collette (Adrianne Palicki), Plemons cracked more jokes than linebackers – and he’ll have many more opportunities to sharpen his comedic timing as part of an “oddball construction crew” on the midseason comedy Bent, reports TVLine.com. The new series, written by former Scrubs writer Tad Quill, also features Amanda Peet The X-Files: I Want to Believe), Jeffrey Tambor (Arrested Development) and J.B. Smooth (Curb Your Enthusiasm). While you wait for Plemons to return to the airwaves, you can own his screen-worn football hoodie – as well as other Friday Night Lights wardrobe items worn by Palicki and other cast members – at VIP Fan Auctions.

FRIDAY NIGHT LIGHTS QB TEAMS WITH TERMINATOR

term

Dillon Panthers quarterback Matt Sarecen (played by Zach Gilford) has landed a big-screen role opposite Arnold Schwarzenegger in The Last Stand. Gilford will play a police officer in a small town along the Mexican border where Schwarzenegger is the sheriff. The duo find themselves as the last line of defense to stop an escaped drug cartel kingpin racing for the border. Before he becomes a major movie star, be sure to place your bid on Gilford’s Dillon Football tee-shirt and pants, which he wore on-screen in five episodes of Friday Night Lights, and an Old Navy shirt he wore in the fourth season premiere. And don’t forget to check out all of the FNL props and wardrobe items available right now at VIP Fan Auctions.

THE COACH TAYLOR SPEECH YOU DIDN'T HEAR

coach

If the end of Friday Night Lights left a void in your television-watching heart, there’s still a little more to see – sort of. An Easter egg hidden on the fifth season DVD reveals an alternate ending to the series finale. Entertainment Weekly reports that a farewell speech by Coach Taylor (played by Kyle Chandler) was originally planned to play over the final minutes showing where the main characters’ lives took them (the voiceover was ultimately replaced by the song “Devil Knows You’re Dead.”) To access the alternate ending, go to the menu screen on the Season 5 DVD, turn the commentary off, and then select the football that appears. Of course, you can also keep a piece of Friday Night Lights for yourself – literally. Check out the Dillon Panthers and East Dillon Lions gear (and other outfits) actually worn on-screen by cast members Kyle Chandler, Connie Britton, Adrianne Palicki, Taylor Kitsch and more at VIP Fan Auctions.
