THE MAN WHO KNOWS TOO MUCH

As one of the CIA’s most experienced counter-terrorism experts, there isn’t much going on in the world of which Homeland’s Saul Berenson (Mandy Patinkin) isn’t aware. Perhaps his greatest weakness is his unpredictable protégé Carrie Mathison (Claire Danes), but despite the sometimes-distasteful nature of his job, Saul carries on in hopes of keeping the country safe. “Every breath Saul Berenson takes is filled with hope and optimism,” Patinkin told Radio Times last year. “And that is what guides his soul – and keeps him searching for a more peaceful world.” There’s no doubt that Saul is one of the most complex and riveting characters on television, and VIP Fan Auctions is offering fans an opportunity to claim a piece of Saul’s history on Homeland by offering his screen-worn wristwatch, his (inconclusive) National Security Agency polygraph report from season 2, Saul’s license plates from Virginia (seasons 1 and 2) and Washington, D.C. (season 3), as well as several postcards, note, hospital visitors pass and more straight from the set of Homeland. HOMELAND HERO

Claire Danes has won multiple Emmy and Golden Globe awards for her portrayal of manic-depressive CIA agent Carrie Mathison on Showtime’s Homeland. The character is one of the most complex on television, shining lights (however fictionalized they may be), on U.S. foreign policy, the war on terror, mental illness, working mothers – all in one of the most taut dramas on television. VIP Fan Auctions is offering fans an opportunity to claim a piece of this unforgettable character in the form of Carrie’s screen-worn sweater and pants; a screen-worn shirt and skirt combination and, most intriguing, Carrie’s surveillance photos of Nicholas Brody (Damian Lewis) and accompanying notebooks, CIA case reports and file on the hero-turned-traitor. HOMELAND: IMMUNITY

Homeland’s Nicholas Brody (Damian Lewis) was one of the despised-yet-beloved heroes in television history. A prisoner of war who returns home a terrorist and eventually sacrifices his own life to help stop a terrorist plot against the United States, Brody is a complicated man. He is ultimately offered immunity of his crimes in exchange for his cooperation in the apprehension of suspected al-Qaeda Abu Nazir – the man who turned Brody against the country he swore to defend. VIP Fan Auctions is offering the screen-used CIA immunity memo featured in Homeland – on CIA letterhead and signed by the attorney general. To claim this piece of paperwork that was so vital to the plot of Homeland, click here. It is the only memo of its kind received from production, and the only evidence that Brody died a hero. SECRET AGENT MAN

Homeland’s Saul Berenson (Mandy Patinkin) would not appreciate having his identification compromised, but VIP Fan Auctions is offering his screen-used CIA ID card to the highest bidder. It’s certainly surprising for an operative as calculated as Saul to lose such vital documents – the card features Saul’s photo and agent ID number (inset, above) – so any bidders should beware that it might be part of a bigger plan by the now-CIA director. This card may be worth the risk of being grabbed in the middle of the night with a bag over your head and waking up in a cargo hold in the middle of the Atlantic, so click here for photos, more information and to get in on the bidding of this unique piece of the Showtime hit Homeland.

HOMELAND’S SECOND LADY

CustomImage-1

As the wife of Homeland’s POW-turned-congressman Nick Brody, Jessica Brody’s (Morena Baccarin) world has been turned upside down more than once. During the second season of Showtime’s Homeland, political fundraisers and the spotlight weighed heavily as her husband ran for vice president. The role as political wife necessitated a high-quality wardrobe, including a blue V-neck Diane Von Fustenberg dress, Guess shoes and blue-and-silver broach (see above) worn on-screen in the second-season episodes “The Clearing” and “I’ll Fly Away.” VIP Fan Auctions is offering the outfit to the fashion-conscious Homeland fan who places the winning bid – click here for photos, more information and to get in on the bidding today! But hurry, this auction is ending soon.

HIDDEN FAITH

Homeland was a phenomenon from the moment it debuted on Showtime in 2011, and Damian Lewis’s Nicholas Brody was one of the most complicated, conflicted and compelling characters on television. The fascination with Brody’s secret life intensified when he first went to his shed for prayer, revealing his hidden tools of his faith – a prayer mat, silver bowl and Holy Qur’an. These landmark, screen-used pieces of television history are now available to the Homeland fan who places the winning bid at VIP Fan Auctions. HomelandCast

Not long before beginning to film its 6th season, Homeland added two familiar faces to its already-impressive cast. Patrick Sabongui and Hill Harper with both have recurring roles in Showtime’s spy thriller series.

Sabongui will play a law professor at CUNY. EW reports that he will be an, “ardent advocate for the Muslim-American community”. You can also catch Sabongui in a regular role on The Flash as well as the all new Power Rangers movie.

Harper will be stepping in as the chief of staff for Elizabeth Keane (Elizabeth Marvel)—the current president-elect. Harper has starred in Limitless, and has had roles on Covert Affairs and CSI: NY.

The sixth season of Homeland is expected to premiere in January. Season five ended with plenty suspense, including Carrie moving back to America. Season six events will be taking place between Election Day and Keane’s inauguration.

Homeland’s Nazanin Boniadi lands Ben-Hur Role

Nazanin Boniadi lands Ben-Hur Role

Timur Bekmambetov’s ‘Ben-Hur’ remake has been accumilating a great cast and now it looks as if they may have landed their female lead. ‘Homeland’ actress Nazanin Boniadi has recently been offered the part of Esther, the slave and love interest of Ben-Hur. The part was previously thought to be Gal Gadot’s before she had to drop out of the running due to scheduling problem. Deadline reports Boniadi was one of several actresses who had chemistry with lead Jack Huston. Boniadi has been offered the spot, but she still needs to go through final negotiations with the studio. If a deal is closed, she will take the role, previously played by Israeli actress Haya Harareet in the 1959 film.

Boniadi can currently be seen playing CIA agent Fara Sherazi on Showtime’s Original Series, ‘Homeland’. Boniadi’s previously appeared in the films ‘The Next Three Days’ and ‘Iron Man’, and was a recurring character on the popular TV series ‘How I Met Your Mother’. MGM’s ‘Ben-Hur’ remake is scheduled to be released February 26, 2016.
