WAR MACHINE

Captain Flint (Toby Stephens) wanted a war. The unflinching captain of the Walrus wanted it so badly that he would kill friends and enemies alike who dared stand in his way. He would steal, destroy and betray for his war – all to make England pay for taking away the one he loved back when he was known simply as James McGraw. To stop him from having his war, John Silver (Luke Arnold) couldn’t kill Flint – he had to “undo” him, the high-seas war-machine that McGraw conjured. The outfit Flint wore during the pivotal flashbacks (see above) as he trained and bonded with Silver in the final season of Black Sails is now available to the winning bidder at VIP Fan Auctions. For more information and to view the pirate costume, which includes Flint’s custom-designed shirt and pants, click here – and get in on the bidding for this key piece of Black Sails wardrobe today!

HONOR AMONG THIEVES

Captain Flint and John Silver are legends of the high seas – two pirates with vastly different backgrounds and personalities who grew to become the closest of friends. Silver (Luke Arnold), who became more like Flint than he might care to admit, and Flint (Toby Stephens), a force of nature who became Silver’s savior and mentor, were never more powerful than when joined together in a common cause. VIP Fan Auctions is offering two of the weapons that helped both men out of grave danger, including John Silver’s 15-inch screen-used dagger and Captain Flint’s gold-handled dagger (pictured above tucked in Flint’s belt) used on-screen in the final season of Black Sails. Click here to see all of the available Black Sails props, weapons and wardrobe items now available – and claim your piece of the epic pirate adventure today!

SILVER’S LINING

His name is John Silver, and he has a long memory. The unlikely hero also has a long pirate coat to protect him against the elements while at sea and on land, whether he’s suffering malnourishment and thirst in the doldrums – or smashing the skull of a pardon-taking traitor with his peg leg. The custom-made black-and-blue coat (pictured above) that John Silver (actually his stunt double) wears on-screen during the fourth season of Black Sails is now available to the Black Sails fan who casts the winning bid at VIP Fan Auctions. ADVENTURES OF SILVER AND FLINT

John Silver and Captain Flint are like a pirate version of mismatched partners on a road trip. The silver-tongued Silver (Luke Arnold), who knows the power of a story, and the battering-ram Flint (Toby Stephens), whose relentlessness in the pursuit of whatever it is he sets his sights – together, there seems to be no odds they can’t overcome. Of course, their personalities are often backed up by brutality, and VIP Fan Auctions is offering the tools of their trade. Currently available is John Silver’s 15-inch screen-used dagger from the fourth season of Black Sails. In addition, Captain Flint’s gold-handled dagger with what appears to be the head of a griffin sculpted into the handle used on-screen in the final season of Black Sails is also on the auction block. SILVER’S COAT AND ARMS

There may be no pirate who has evolved as much as John Silver. Once a proud coward and thief, Long John would become a battle-tested hero of the high seas. Fans of the character now have an opportunity to own his screen-used dagger, which he used on screen in the fourth season of Black Sails (see it tucked in his belt above, click here for more information). John Silver’s (Luke Arnold) custom-made coat worn on-screen in the third and fourth season of Black Sails (pictured above) is also now available to the fan who casts the winning bid at VIP Fan Auctions. The unique blue-and-black coat will protect you from the harsh conditions sailing the salty seas – and it’s a rugged fashion statement on land. SILVER WEAR

Black Sails’ reluctant pirate hero John Silver (Luke Arnold) has paid a dear price for his loyalty, but his cunning and wit allow him to be a voice of reason to the increasingly tyrannical Captain Flint – and he eventually realizes the power he possesses in being both loved and feared. VIP Fan Auctions is offering several signature wardrobe pieces of the legendary pirate, including Silver’s custom-designed blue and black long pirate coat (pictured above; click here for photos and more information). Also available is the green custom-made jacket Silver wore on-screen during the second season of Black Sails (click here for photos and more information). ‘BLACK’ MAGIC

Long John Silver lost his leg in one of the most gruesome ways imaginable. Luckily for Luke Arnold, the actor who plays the legendary pirate on Black Sails, bringing the aftermath of the attack to the screen was fairly painless thanks to some practical visual effects – the tools of which are now available to the fan who casts the winning bid at VIP Fan Auctions. The set includes the knee slip and brace that allowed the actor to hide his lower leg, as well as John Silver’s peg leg and a peg-leg insert to complete the effect (see photo above). Don’t miss this chance to own a piece of television visual effects and dazzle friends at the next costume party. SHIPMATE STEEL

The dagger used by Captain Flint (Toby Stephens) during the fourth season of Black Sails is as impressive as it is well-used. Crafted from silver and gold, the prop weapon is befitting an accomplished master and commander. The dagger measures more than 15 inches long with a 10-inch blade and a handle engraved with a lion’s head. Click here for photos, more information and to place a bid on Flint’s dagger today. VIP Fan Auctions is also offering shipmate John Silver’s (Luke Arnold) screen-used dagger, which is roughly the same size as Flint’s but more subdued with a simple brown and gold handle. SILVER-TONGUED DEVIL

2_john_silver

The legend of Long John Silver extends well beyond his iconic role in Robert Louis Stevenson’s classic Treasure Island – he has a parrot called Captain Flint and walks with a peg leg, among other features with origins in Black Sails – and he is no less cunning and colorful than in the novel’s television precursor. Beginning his pirate career aboard Captain Flint’s (the human, not the parrot) Walrus ship as an imposter cook, Silver continues to use his charm, lies, cowardice, intelligence and selfishness to benefit the person he cares most about: himself. VIP Fan Auctions is now offering fans of Black Sails (or pirate lore, in general) an opportunity to claim John Silver’s spyglass (pictured above), which is featured on-screen in the third season of Black Sails. The spyglass, created specifically for the Starz epic, is constructed of metal and leather – and the only one of its kind received from production. Don’t miss this opportunity – click here to get in on the bidding for this unique Black Sails prop today!

LAND, HO!

A spyglass is as vital to pirate lore as parrots, eyepatches and peg legs. The brown and silver spyglass used on-screen by the legendary Captain Flint (Toby Stephens, pictured above) in Black Sails is available to the fan who places the winning bid at VIP Fan Auctions. Though it may be impossible to see on television, engraved on the spyglass are the words “Orion Spotter” as eell as “Made by W. Ottway & Co Ltd, Ealing, London, No. 54850, British Made.” Don’t miss this chance to own this Black Sails prop, which has been meticulously designed for authenticity.
