Faced with the task of finding a job within seven days or being deported to Canada, Robin Scherbatsky (Cobie Smulders) enlists the help of Barney Stinson (Neil Patrick Harris) to create a buzzy video resume in the fourth season How I Met Your Mother episode “The Possimpable.” To look her best on camera, Robin dons a black BCBG shirt and a stunning Nanette Lepore jacket and skirt (pictured above) – and VIP Fan Auctions is offering the screen-worn designer outfit to the fan who casts the winning bid. The job hunt seemed to work quite well as Smulders went on to land a job as a SHIELD agent in The Avengers, a gig as Wonder Woman in The Lego Movie – and her alter ego Robin Scherbatsky went on to a phenomenal news career and got to stay in New York. If you’re looking for a piece of TV history or a suit for your own job hunt, click here for photos and more details – and get in on the bidding today!

Barney Stinson (Neil Patrick Harris) put Canada on notice back in How I Met Your Mother’s fifth-season episode “Duel Citizenship.” Referring to his beloved Robin Scherbatsky (Cobie Smulders), he declares, “I’m planting my flag in her, if you know what I mean –which you probably don’t – and getting the hell outta here. You may now return to being pointless.” One lucky fans of How I Met Your Mother, however, will be able to literally plant Barney’s flag anywhere. VIP Fan Auctions is offering the blue, production-used flag with Barney’s face on it (see above) to the fan who places the winning bid. Truly a unique piece of television history, the Stinson flag is a symbol of one of the medium’s most legen…. wait for it… dary characters. What Does It Take To Host The Oscars?

Neil Patrick Harris

Hosting the Oscars is no easy task in this day and age. With millions of people watching who all have easy access to social media and various mediums for faceless expressions, it’s easy to get discouraged. As Neil Patrick Harris said when asked if he would host again, “I don’t know that my family nor my soul could take it”.

Will Ferrell, on the other hand, seemed as though he was ready for the challenge.  In 2012 he reached out to the Academy and asked if he could host the award show, reportedly pitching a plan.

The idea was that Ferrell, along with co-host Zach Galifinakis, would pretend as though they had been called in last minute. The act would be full of mistakes and hiccups, so much so that it would appear completely unrehearsed. According to the Huffington Post, Ferrell said:

Will Ferrel

“We will host the Oscars if you do a campaign that you can’t find an Oscars host up until the last second,” Ferrell said of his idea. “It’s going to be a surprise and we’ll walk out on stage. The whole premise of our hosting was that we were asked at the last second. So we’re always flustered. We don’t know the jokes. We don’t know where the cameras are. We do the entire show as if it’s unrehearsed.”

The Academy seemed to have liked the idea but shot it down due to promotional reasons. It was an unfortunate end to a potentially unforgettable idea. Either way, we’ll be seeing plenty more from Will in Zach in 2015 as we gear up for another summer at the movies!

When former Canadian pop-star Robin Scherbatsky (Cobie Smulders) sets her sights on something, she will stop at (almost) nothing to have it – including Barney Stinson (Neal Patrick Harris). Of course, Barney relies on this fact to carry out his greatest scheme – to get Robin to pursue him! In the eighth-season episode “Lobster Crawl,” Robin faces the prospect of Barney moving on with someone else, which prompts her to show up at Barney’s awesome apartment wearing nothing but her coat and negligee. The How I Met Your Mother fan who casts the winning bid on Robin’s eye-popping, screen-worn blue bustier and J. Crew coat – available at VIP Fan Auctions – will take possession of a monumental piece of wardrobe from one of the series’ most pivotal scenes (not to mention worn by an Agent of SHIELD). How I Met Your Mother fans saw a flirtatious side of Robin Scherbatsky (Cobie Smulders) in the eighth-season episode “Lobster Crawl” when she shows up at Barney’s (Neil Patrick Harris) apartment wearing nothing but her coat and bustier. Obsessed with having what she can’t have, Robin’s bold move was an attempt to win back Barney (which the Machiavellian Stinson, always five steps ahead, already knew) – and a stunning scene that turned up the heat on their complicated relationship. The fan who casts the winning bid on Robin’s blue bustier and J. Crew coat – available at VIP Fan Auctions – gets to take home this signature piece of wardrobe (pictured above)! When international superstar singer/actress/American idol judge Jennifer Lopez visited the fifth season of How I Met Your Mother, she left some of her jewelry behind. Lopez, who played self-help guru Anita – author of the book “Of Course You’re Still Single, Take a Look at Yourself, You Dumb Slut” – in the episode titled “Of Course,” wore the necklace (pictured above) and bracelets as she attempted to break Barney’s (Neil Patrick Harris) womanizing spirit in a scheme hatched with Robin (Cobie Smulders). While she couldn’t bring down Barney, VIP Fan Auctions is offering one fan an opportunity to own J-Lo’s screen-worn bling! Click here to see photos of each piece and get in on the bidding today!

Writing wedding vows nearly ruined Barney Stinson (Neil Patrick Harris). He compiled pages and pages of promises to his bride, Robin (Cobie Smulders), but ultimately dumped them all vowing to simply tell her the truth. While the agony Barney went through in compiling his wedding vows made for some fantastically funny television, one fan will have an opportunity to own 16 pages of the vows he never got to say during the ninth-season episode “The End of the Aisle” – and if you think How I Met Your Mother was funny on on-screen, wait until you read Barney’s words that never aired! Click here for more information and to get in on the bidding today!

Barney Stinson (Neil Patrick Harris) loves robots. During the run of How I Met Your Mother, he has gone to Robots vs. Wrestlers events. He played a robot in The Barney Stinson Theater Experience. And he has a collection of robots in his bedroom. VIP Fan Auctions is making part of Barney’s collection available to the fan who casts the winning bid – the first set includes three metal toy robots (two with their original box), and a second set also features three of Barney’s ‘bots. Click here or here to see photos of the available robots and claim your part of Barney’s unique collection today.

Tantrum Energy Drink has the highest caffeine level legally available over the counter. It’s so intense, in fact, one Tantrum-and-beef-jerky binge on a How I Met Your Mother road trip from Wesleyan University to Chicago pizzeria Gazzola’s left Ted Mosby (Josh Radnor) colorblind for two weeks. According to Barney Stinson (Neil Patrick Harris), Tantrum is also a key ingredient for his Hangover Fixer Elixir. Now fans have an opportunity to own a 2-liter (empty) bottle of Tantrum featured in the ninth-season episode “Rally,” complete with the label that reads: “Tantrum: Maximum Caffeine Energy Drink.” Click here for more information – and get in on the bidding for this high-energy HIMYM prop today!

It gets cold up in the Great White North, so when How I Met Your Mother’s Robin (Cobie Smulders) gets hammered with the Canadian women’s national curling team at New York’s Hoser Hut and wakes up in Toronto, it’s Barney (Neil Patrick Harris) to the rescue. The wool Dolce & Gabbana overcoat he wears to keep warm north of the border (and while ice skating in New York, pictured above) in the fifth-season episode “Duel Citizenship” is now available to the How I Met Your Mother fan who casts the winning bid at VIP Fan Auctions. To complete Barney’s stylish look, VIP is also offering the screen-worn Prada suit he wore in the episode – as well as several other of Barney’s designer suits – so “Suit Up” and get in on the bidding today!
