Kiefer Sutherland has something to confess. While fans would like for it to be concrete details for Jack Bauer’s big-screen debut, The Confession is actually a new 10-part web series starring  Sutherland as a professional killer who confesses his crimes to a priest. The series debuts today (March 28) on Hulu.com. “[The character] strongly believes the people he’s killed deserve it and right there is one of the greatest moral discussions of all time,” Sutherland told TV Guide.com. “He wants to believe there’s good out there and people can change because I think he wants to change.”

With the future of the “24″ film in limbo, series star Kiefer Sutherland (who played Jack Bauer) is turning his attention to the Internet. Sutherland and Oscar-winner John Hurt, will star in “The Confession,” a 10-part series (five minutes per episode) that will be available on Hulu.com beginning in March. Sutherland, who knows a thing or two about confessions from his days as Jack Bauer, will play a hitman who discusses with a priest (played by Hurt) why his victims had to die, according to The Hollywood Reporter.
