If you can’t wait for the Cohen brothers’ True Grit to hit theaters this Christmas, you are not alone. Paramount Pictures can’t wait either – the studio has announced that the film’s release date has been moved up to Dec. 22! According to Deadline.com, after studio bosses saw the finished film – which stars Jeff Bridges, Matt Damon and Josh Brolin – “the decision was made to giddyap and get the Western out in front of the holiday.” As this is posted, the Paramount website still says the film is due Dec. 25 – but we know better, don’t we?
