FREEDOM

More than a decade before Aretha Franklin performed her smash “Think” on-screen during The Blues Brothers, the song was a Top 10 hit in 1968, released shortly after the assassination of her friend, Rev. Martin Luther King Jr. One of the Queen of Soul’s immortal empowerment anthems, the song is featured in the 2021 biopic Respect, starring Jennifer Hudson as Aretha, as she performs it in Paris. During the scene, Aretha wears an elegant floor-length white dress (pictured), which is now available from VIP Fan Auctions in the Respect wardrobe auction. The screen-worn dress also includes the necklace, earrings and shoes that accessorize the ensemble (click here for photos and more information). The Respect auction ends in a few hours, so join the bidding on any of the amazing pieces of wardrobe featured in the film and own a piece of movie history today!
