Godzilla Movie Auction Starts February 15th
VIP Fan Auctions Unleashes Monster Auction of Godzilla Props Exclusively on Ebay
(Los Angeles, CA. – Feb. 11, 2019) Godzilla has been stomping across the planet in more than 30 films since its 1954 debut. During that time, the king of the monsters has destroyed cities and saved humanity many times over, battling a cast of legendary titans such as Mothra, Rodan, King Kong, and the dreaded three-headed King Ghidorah. The history of Godzilla is also a chronicle of the evolution of special-effects – and VIP Fan Auctions has unearthed remains of the radioactive film icon’s 1998 resurrection that will bring fans closer to the monster than ever before.
VIP Fan Auctions, the premier online auction house for props featured on-screen in major film and television productions are literally offering pieces of the iconic Godzilla in a special auction beginning Feb. 15, 2019. The one-week online event is offering a screen-used Godzilla stunt head, tail and pieces of the iconic monster’s skin from its 1998 film. This monster Godzilla auction is powered by eBay with photos and descriptions of each item available at vipfanauctions.com.

“Godzilla has been the biggest star on the planet for more than 60 years – and shows no sign of slowing down,” said VIP Fan Auctions Managing Partner Mark Kaminky. “VIP Fan Auctions is thrilled to offer fans a chance to own a piece of the monster from the blockbuster 1998 film Godzilla.”
The movie stars Matthew Broderick (Ferris Bueller’s Day Off) as scientist Niko Tatopoulos, who leads a team of unlikely heroes to save New York from the notorious fire-breathing sea monster. The film was written, produced and directed by the team of Dean Devin and Roland Emmerich (Independence Day, Stargate), who redefined the science-fiction action blockbuster in the 1990s. Godzilla grossed nearly $380 million at the worldwide box office when it ravaged Manhattan more than 20 years ago.
“With the next chapter in the Godzilla mythology ready to rumble into theaters this May, interest in the creature has never been greater,” added Kaminky. “Godzilla already has a star on the Walk of Fame – now fans have an opportunity to claim a signature piece of the monster’s Hollywood history for themselves.”
The Godzilla auction ends on Feb. 22, 2019.
