HOTTEST JOB IN MIDDLE MANAGEMENT
When Steve Carrell (Dinner for Schmucks) leaves The Office after the upcoming seventh season, the TV website Warming Glow says sources indicate that an Arrested Development alum will step in as Dunder Mifflin’s new branch manager. Due to the busy schedules of Arrested Development stars Will Arnett, Jason Bateman, David Cross and Michael Cera, the New York Post narrows the field to three candidates: Portia de Rossi, Jeffrey Tambor and Tony Hale. Entertainment Weekly’s Michael Ausiello, meanwhile, has reported that Office producers have contacted Danny McBride (Eastbound & Down) and Rhys Darby (Flight of the Conchords). Who knew a job in the paper business would be in such demand?
