The Ben-Hur chariot race is the stuff of Hollywood legend. From the 1959 original – which had the biggest budget (nearly $15.175 million) and biggest sets ever designed at the time – to the 2016 remake (now in theaters) that staged the pulse-pounding chariot race with real action instead of CGI effects. VIP Fan Auctions is offering fans an opportunity to claim a piece of what may be the most famous action sequence in film history by offering several of the chariot racers uniforms, including the elaborate costume (pictured above) worn by Messala (Toby Kebbell), which includes his armor, tunic, scarf, skirt, pants, vambraces, boots, elbow pads and greaves. VIP is also offering the distinctive uniforms worn on-screen in Ben-Hur by several other riders, including those worn by the Egyptian, Ethiopean, Persian and Syrian riders.
