Eureka creator Jaime Paglia says that if there were one aspect of the series he could change, it would have been to reveal a secret.

“I would have liked to have a more satisfying resolution for the secret that Henry (played by Joe Morton) was keeping from Carter (Colin Ferguson) about erasing Carter’s memory of the alternate timeline they experienced in “Once in a Lifetime,” he tells the VIP Blog in an exclusive interview.

In fact, he tried to resolve the situation two seasons later, but revealing the truth remained troublesome.

“I wrote a scene later in Season Three where it all came out, but in the context of the episode, it just didn’t work, so we had to cut it,” Paglia says. “It remained Henry’s secret, though we hinted along the way that Carter kind of suspected something.  It just wasn’t satisfying.”

One thing Sheriff Carter will never forget is “A Night at Global Dynamics” – the Season 2 finale – in which he and Nathan Stark (Ed Quinn) worked together to contain a deadly bacteria that threatened the town. The blue haz-mat suit Carter wore during the episode is now available to the highest bidder at the Eureka page at VIP Fan Auctions. It’s one of the most distinctive wardrobe items you’ll ever find available at the site, so check out the details here and place your bid today!
