Tony Almeida Will Return to 24: Legacy
Big news broke just this week from 24: Legacy. Tony Almeida (Carlos Bernard) will be returning to the new season of the show. Tony is a long-time veteran of 24, dating all the way back to the very first season. The reboot of this action-drama will exist in the same universe, but focus on all new stories and characters. However, that does leave open the opportunity for some familiar faces to drop by now and then.
Tony was a longtime favorite on 24, and one of the most trusted agents on Jack’s team. However, in season 5, after the tragic death of his wife, Michelle Dressler, Tony was supposedly ‘killed’. He returned in season 7, but this time playing for the other team, as one of the most iconic villains in 24’s history.
But wait! There’s more!
It later turned out that Tony was still on the good guy’s side, and he was working undercover for a different organization alongside Chloe O’Brian and Bill Buchanan. Finally, we learned that the only thing Tony really cared about was exacting revenge on the man responsible for killing his wife.
If this all sounds like a lot, then just wait until we find out what Tony’s role will be in the new season. There are a lot of ways the producers could take this. Regardless, friend or foe, it will be exciting to see Tony Almeida back in action in 24: Legacy!
