Dexter’s John Lithgow won an Emmy Award in the Outstanding Guest Actor in A Drama Series category for his role as Arthur Miller – a.k.a the Trinity Killer. He was recognized during the Creative Arts ceremony on Saturday, Aug. 21 (the Major Awards being announced at the 62nd Annual Primetime Emmy Awards on Sunday). In true villainous form, Lithgow thanked HBO – rather than Showtime – during his acceptance speech. “I said HBO?” he said to reporters afterward. “I’ll never live that down.”
