Washington Street Books Shows off ‘Carrie’ Movie Costumes

It is always exciting to see items from our past movie auctions put to good use. One of our favorite horror movie auctions was MGM’s 2013 remake of Stephen King’s novel ‘Carrie’.  John Klisavage, a long-time customer and the owner of Washington Street Books, is currently displaying two of the original costumes worn by Chloe Grace Moretz as Carrie, along with other costumes from their collection including the Dracula TV Series, Snakes on a Plane, and Piranha 3DD in their store.

About the Store

Washington Street Books opened their Business in 1992 and quickly grew to a 6,000 sq. ft. space. Through the years they have expanded their areas to include a wide range of subjects, from Books to Records, CD’s, Jewelry, Comics and Toys. In the last five years they have expanded heavily into Original Movie Costumes and Props, with now over 500 Movie Costumes in their collection.
